on saturday...

my bro received a very shocking news...
Mr Ho, both our ex physics teacher, passed away...
:(

he had cancer (colon cancer if i'm not wrong)
n was forced to retire during my... O level year (2003) (if i still remember correctly)
the last time i saw him was at Mount Elizabeth Hospital (or some hospital located in town)

i can still remember tt time is the beginning of SARS' killing spree in Singapore. Alot of pple were infected with SARS.
he seems ok to me at tt time, can still talk, walk around everything fine...
jus cannot discharge tts all...

time flies...
now...
he's lying in a coffin at Marsiling...
i didn't go for the wake...
i thought my sec sch si tang went in the afternoons,
so didn't go...
but jus now ah bui lao da called n tell me said they only go in the evenings...
but its too late to go down le, cos the service finishes at 9

stupid me la... i should have called them to find out wat time they going, n perhaps can see my teacher for the last time la...

i was a very naughty boy... (thanks to the trend tt time)

beocs of him... i passed my science...
he doesn't seem to get angry easily...
though i did pissed him off at times...

Aiyo...

i seriously think we should STOP POSTING AKE THREADS IN MI FORUM ASAP!!!

why must we post thread saying tt we've gotten gold again in MI Link when ben n hafirah has already announced to the whole school on friday?

i seriously think tts not necessary lor...
this could lead to yet another round of debate, whether a civilised one or an insulting ones...
we should just leave it there, whether other pple wanna post there or not is their problem...
we shouldn't keep repeating our achievement to other pple lor...
later other pple from other CCA will think tt our CCA is boasting around our achievement...
(btw, all performing Arts (so far) have gotten a Silver for this SYF)

n i think tt is what we call as unwanted attention...

AKE has to remain as a humble CCA...
by boasting around our achievement only projects how cocky we are...
yes... we may be proud of our achievement...
we should celebrate our glory... with ourselves ONLY...
if we wanna let the others know how good we are...
well... we show them on the stage...
(no mean to offend the posters, but this is how i feel la)
like wat they said in the forum post, IGNORE THEM!!!
(tt doesn't mean we should continue posting ANY related ake stuff on forum. We have our web page to voice our opinion.)


another thing which i wanted to call upon all AKE yr 3s to help me out...
yes... we've crossed a major milestone in our CCA life. time to gradulate soon (no PSYFS now pls shir n jas)
which means.... we'll be off... after I day.
the yr 2s may or may not organise a farewell party for the yr 3s...
if they do... well... tts a bonus.
if they dun... well... so be it...
the point i wanna bring across is...
lets not stress the yr 2s on the farewell party...
hafirah n seraphine will be damn sad about this...
can see from seraphine this few days tt she's sad about this i think...
(even though i disgust her, but i empathise with her...)

the reason being tt...
me, jannah, n grace went through this last year...
last year...
pple like liang kai, amanda, afidah, yani, farid, ah pok, even xX were demanding for their farewell party...
we were so sad about tt la...
but they just selfishly, shamelessly ignore our feelings...
n continue to do tt...
well...
even if they dun wanna have the farewell party... me n jannah will surely give in our 500% effort to make sure they have a wonderful farewell party...

so i'm calling upon all yr 3s to hush anything about farewell party...
i won't want the current yr 3s to repeat these atrocities done the last bunch of yr 3s...
lets all really enjoy the remaining days in AKE...

Wat PSYFS means?

ooh...
simple...
it means Post SYF Syndromes...

today went back school...
can't go into classroom becos stupid SCs having their stupid meetings in my classroom...
so i went to canteen to see if can meet anyone familiar...

well...
i saw mr n mrs toh...
together with shirley there...
they were kinda quiet...
maybe its becos we were all very very tired...

i encounter lots of running water tap from jas today...
when saw her crying, i soooo wanted to ask shirley to go over n comfort her, becos i'm not good at water rationing...

i thought shirley's some tough gal who'll be strict on water...
but after reading her WR (written report) on her blog...
i realised tt she's been loosing it...

oh man...

these pple really 中毒太深了咯...

in case u all didn't noe wat kind of 毒...

well... the drug is ake drug...

withdrawl syndrome's contagious n hurtful

signs of syndrome:
tears fall like cats n dogs, "monkeys n bananas"
have a tendency to visit Harmonis every now n then...

Withdrawal Syndrome kinda sets in today...
i was very worried for jas becos she look very 可怕 lor...
:S

after reading shirley's WR jus now, eyes feel kinda itchy...
but water rationing was still able to take charge (haha)
her WR had lots of flash backs yesterday...

one of them is the LiLi Tan incident, which i find it kinda funny...
she sent well wishes to everyone...
the problem is... in her well wishes sms for everyone (everybody gets the same msg)... she include the words : " let me noe the results ok..."
sooo... when the results were out...
everyone starts to report to her the results right...
imagine over at her side...
she will keep receiving things like :
"hey thanks... its a gold"
"its a gold"
"we got gold"
"its a gold, without honours"
"we got gold!!!"
"we did really well... its a gold"
"aie... they got gold..." (from huda)
etc...
etc...
etc...

poor thing...
have to read this kind of sms again over n over again... (i wonder how many she sent/received)

so went straight home to shut off...
i was feeling kinda weird... even after 4 hours of sleep...

yeah!

finally its all over...

we've gotten a gold for our SYF...

i was abit disappointed tt we didn't retain our GWH...
simply becos... we've got pple playing wrong notes here n there...
(well... i was one of them...)

this year...
the champion goes to Siglap Secondary School...
they gotten our GWH...

this year's judging's been strict...
there's only 4 golds (plus siglap)
they are...

MILLENNIA INSTITUTE
NJC (they're good... girls are pretty too... jus the guys... all look so nerdy n gayish to me... ha)
RGS (if i'm not wrong...)

after our wonderful/ almost perfect SYF 2005,
all the other schools starts to COPY us... (yes... copy us)
they all started to have non malay musical instruments...
e.g...
Siglap Sec...
they are the most traditional school lor...
then this year... they include the timpani







while the rest include...
chinese drums...
vibraphones,
even bells...

all copy us right???

anyway...
i didn't feel sad...
becos...
i was from a GWH batch...
i have a plaque which says SYF gold (with honours) sitting at my bedroom collecting dust...
hahaha...
this year's SYF plaque will just add to my collection of standards...

now i left...

The Ensemble is ready!

we'll:
  • go there n enjoy ourselves...
  • show the whole Singapore how traditions can rojak well with the modern
  • make those secondary schools kids drop their jaws (98% of the SYF angklung & kulintang ensembles are from secondary schools...)
  • show NJCians the meaning of standards... (the only JC with angklung, they call it angklung orchestra)
  • earn another strike to our collection of golds n gold w honours achievements...
  • promote millennia institute (one of the least important things to take note)
  • use this central judging as a platform for international performance...

i hereby propose an alumni ake to be set up...
for the sake of shaking angklungs, try to wack drum skin till it tears, occupy marimba etc...
then it will be called MIAAKE... ( Millennia Institute Alumni Angklung kulingtang Ensemble)

after tml's "performance"
the yr 3s will step down technically...
today's the day where the yr 2s get to submit their desired post in AKE EXCO...
i had a glance at the applications...

i'm surprised tt one of the hottest post ever wanted...
is no longer the chairperson & V chairperson...
i've discovered tt its...

since i've discover tt treasurer is one of the hottest post, with around 5 pple asking for either treasurer or assistant treasurer, somehow i got this sour feeling tt i won't wanna step down...

I'M CURRENTLY MIAKE TREASURER

i dun wanna step down makes it look like 我霸着茅坑不拉屎 (or occupy the toilet bowl but refuse to shit)

but there are pple i dun really like them to have the job...

those who refuse to pay ake fund, so tt when they become treasurer, nobody will ask them to pay...
there are oso others who wanna be treasurer jus becos they like to hold $$$...

well... currently there's still some $$$ in the fund, but as compared to Shaq & ah pok era... there's still a long way to go...

i really hope the teachers will choose the pple correctly... n not choose some who are desperate to hold $$$ pple...

time flies...

its seems only like yesterday i since join ake...

its now... 3.5 years

it seems tt ake has been injected into my blood...
come to think of tt...
the reason why i join ake in the first place is...
to attend free music lessons...
to read notes...
feel for rhythm, all these la...
when i saw luqman, the drummer tt time...
i was inspired by him, to be a drummer...
so... i took part...

i didn't realise tt ppl like LiLi Tan, aH pok oso join aKe...
after all these years... have seen a few chio bu in ake
first batch : Jaime
Second batch : Shunning, aka Ning Ma (oooh i really miss ning ma man... wonder how's she now)
Third batch : aH pok... (hope she's still well with Ray)
Fourth Batch : No doubt... MY EYE CANDY!!! [ too bad she quit : ( ]
Current Batch : NOBODY!!! ( Nadia's kinda cute though)

in a few days time... the team will be going for the competition... all this months of hard work is being put to the test...

After SYF... time for the yr 3s to say sayonara to this CCA...
speaking to this part reminds me of jas this evening...
i wanted to ask her to bring camera to take photos of the yr 3s... so tt we can do the yr 3 legacy poster, to be hung at the angklung chords...

WHICH THE PREVIOUS BATCH DIDN'T EVEN DO... (xX claimed tt she'll do... but it seems tt she didn't... or else i would have already seen it)
(its the responsibility of current yr 3s to restart this trend or this tradition will be lost forever...)

up to this point... jas' water tap start to turn on already..........
OH MAN!!! i really didn't expect tt...
n i really didn't mean it lor... (sorry~)
looks like i won't be the only one having the withdrawal syndromes from ake drug...
(btw, this drug has run deep into my veins n arteries.)

i remembered the time when i first suffered from the withdrawal syndromes when luqman batch graduated...
i cried... yes i did...

will the withdrawal syndrome be back? i'm not sure...

All i know now is to put my 200% in this coming SYF... n perhaps share my experience of last SYF with them...
by frankly speaking... i'm not aiming for GWH...
i jus hope tt the judges will think tt we are a VERY VERY VERY special ensemble...
So special tt perhaps GWH will be too inferior for us...

today's not my day man...

firstly...
woke up really late... (6.45 am) so... late for school
6.45 am is the usual time i left house, but today... i woke up at tt time...
bad enough...
becos of my late coming record (5 times tis year) i'm being invisibly "crowned" the No.1 lateCOMER (not cumer hor, mind u) in 05S2...
which means... my mom have to go school to see those pple asap, or i'll have to be suspended indefinitely.
luckily my mom's not working tml...

tis latecoming thing kinda spoil my mood already...
to make matters worse... today's MT period, which is being substituted by econs for those not taking MT, nobody tell me the venue of the lesson...
this act makes me feel tt i'm being ostracized by econs classmates... (or have i mixed around too much with physics classmates?)
in the end, i've to ask hui shan (a physics classmates) where is the venue...
bad bad bad...

yesterday at ake...
miss tay, (or rather Mrs Gay, by liang kai they all) dropped by to have a view on our SYF preparations...
she oso issue an IMPERIAL ORDER :

Hereby ordering all MIAKEANS to TERMINATE any thread posting on MI forum regarding to ake...

To IGNORE insulting remarks from 06S2's Ng Yi Xun's posting there...

MIAKEANS failed to obey this command will be subjected to having a locked up night stay alone with either James tan or Rommance...

Persistent MIAKEANS will get both of them at the same time... hahaha

wat makes the GWH MIAKEANS near invincible state back then is due to the fact tt we are able to "tank" all criticism tt are being bombard to us back then...
this impt factor tt's so powerful is on the verge of loosing it...
no thanks to the glory we've brought back...
we should find the ability of doing tt soon...

school is a place where learning take place...
its oso a place where we make lots of friends, etc.
in short, school is a place where its a bride from childhood to adults.

Yet... in school, there are lots of funny pple...

in MI, where they take in all sorts of pple,
from tt mild autistic guy,
to a guy with eye infections so serious tt he couldn't see,
MI enrolled a GAY couple!!!

CONDEMN HOMOs... (be it gays or lesbians)

my condemnation for them is so bad tt...
if i were given power of a leader, i'll probably do wat Hilter did to the jews...
i may be the Hilter of the 21st century... (now tts bad)

i'm strongly against them becos i jus can't stand them, period!
these kind of pple which i disgust the most (i know this is wrong, but can't help it) is actually in my school...

its nice to have friends, cos they will sure be there when u need.

but i noticed tt this good friend of mine, has been going too close to this clique of friends...

HOWEVER...

so i can't take it anymore, but to tell the world about this...

there's just ONE OF THEM...
(yes... one rotten apple can spoil the whole barrel of good ones)

the rotten apple is seriously.... without a doubt, the worst backstabber i've seen so far...
(i'm not supposed to come in contact with backstabber... but so suay, kana one in this era)
(btw, tis rotten apple is a she)

Firstly :
She's very very proud. Her presence can be felt with a foul smell of arrogance (if there's a group of pple at the bus stop who knows her, she only wave good bye to selective pple before she board the bus, n not the others...)

Next :
She'll create trouble with other girls, and let her clique deal with the trouble she created, while claiming tt she's not part of the whole shit...
(making use of her friend's loyalty, in short.)

Thirdly :
She tells secrets of her best buddy to others... (imagine this, A & B are best budds. one day, A joins this group of friends, n the next day this group of friends knows the secrets, tts so secretive tt it should be brought to the grave, of B's...)

So... Wat do u all think of tt? By now, some of u may have already know jus WHO in tt blue hell i'm talking about...
if this secret main character's (the rotten apple) identity is known, i'm sure tt the rest of the supporting characters in my sroty wouldn't be hard to find out... (or was i too obvious?)

Yes.... Thats a true story... N it happened in my school...
the lucky part is, this rotten apple is not in my class...
(imagine this rotten apple, as the political extremist, creating turmoil in a very turmoil class politics... all hell will break loose...)

i really hope tt this friend of mine really exercise discretion when talking to them, as my friend's ass can be kicked anytime, by them (or rather tt rotten apple)

i was looking through my friendster account n i saw this BtyNPCC which i've added as friends.

then i realised... its been sooooo long since i Passed out as NCO (Non Comissioned Officer)
i saw quite alot of pple inside... my squad-mates, seniors, not to mention my juniors...

then memories starts to flash back...

i remembered i was a very very very slacking cadet. i would try to be MIA as many times as possible. so my memories are limited...
i MIA in...
ATC (Adventure Training Camp) at Ubin,
school's training camp from sec 2 to sec 3
didn't go for PK (Police Knowledge) course
there's this swimming survivor course which require swimming background which i didn't go, (not tt i dun wanna go)
but i didn't submit my swimming cert for the badge.
(i know how to swim btw, its just tt one more badge will mean tt i've to polish one more thing)

as a result, badges on my chest or uniform are very limited...
i didn't get the marksman badge becos i was a "bo bo" (or rather a cock eye) shooter.
the drill class badge on my left arm is 1st class.... literally... becos i only had the training, but didn't go n test for the badge... (tis is not my fault... my OC's blur like sotong until forgotten to giive us the test.)
i didn't get the camp-craft badge because i didn't go for school's training camp from sec 2 to sec 3 ma...

so... now u all should have a clear picture tt i'm not a good cadet...
:D

but i remember the NPCC pledge, which has already engraved into my memory :

HAHAHA!!!

this morning when i was on the bus... i was watching CNA for last night's Champions League between Manchester United & AS Roma.
the score really did surprised me...
at first i expect a score between 1-0 or 2-0

i didn't expect the score to be...

7-1 !!!!!!!!!!!

2 goals each from Carrick & Ronaldo, plus a goal each from Rooney, Smith, & Evra...

Steady la Man U...

hope tt during the semi-finals Man U will face Liverpool (Loserpool haha)
and not some stupid team call Chelsea (haha!)
if tts the case then me n LiLi Tan will fight again..... hahaha (btw she's a Chelsea supporter)

becos of tt stupid bus... i was nearly late today... was tt close by the inch of the hair (or watever tt is)

today is nothing special...

hmmmz...

went for tuition tis afternoon...
wa seh... jus found out how much yr1 work i have long forgotten...
i must start my revision soon...

on my way back...
a lady stopped me...
she's someone from a bank (i think) promoting some financial planning thingy...
the plans are basically not for students la... but for those who working, not to mention earning big bucks, so tt they can use their money wisely...

now now now...

firstly...
do i look as though i earn $10k per month? (i wish)
do i look like i'm those middle age ah pek who have no idea how to use their CPF claims?
do i look like i'm those with beer belly, balding, sagging muscles (or watever u all call tt) middle aged man? (Cheryl, sounds familiar hor...)

CIP day today turn out better than i expected...

at first... i thought the day's gonna screw up real badly becos of poor planning...
but... no matter how screwed up it may seems... we still managed to get the job done...

before we set off from school...
i was looking around in the hall... there are a number of classes with their class t shirts...

then...
i take a look at my class...
lots of different kinds of school t shirts...

we have a couple of old house t shirts, new house t shirts, PE t shirts, ex class t shirt, not to mention orientation t shirts...

which reminds me of the class politics yet again...

lots of parties... (not to mention lots of opinions)
the political situation in my class look so free tt it looks like we're in America... (lots of freedom)
the problem is i can't seem to identify who are The Democrats & The Republicans.

unlike the other classes... they look like they're from China... (the CCP)

1 ideology
1 party
1 uniform
sound soooooooo restricted right...
well... u gain some, u lose some...

after my scan the whole hall... i asked justin for the results of champions league match between Manchester United & AS Roma.

do u all find tis blog dull n boring???
well... i like it simple...
some pple's blog got so many animations, flash or watever u all call tt...
took so long to load the page lor...
got sooooo put off trying to read them...

by now u all should have found out tt i love spiderman...

today's school... Principal said something tt shook the whole school...

it says tt got pple complain tt MI students did not throw leftovers away in Macdonald's...
