my week in camp seems to be getting longer...the 5 and the half days i stayed in camp...
seems to be years...
maybe becos it seems to be tt...
its lessons all the way...
and at night its OTOT (own time own target) already...
so...
its freaking boring........
dunno whether should i reveal this...
but heck it la...
share with u all wat i've learnt...
the weapons i learnt are getting heavier...
from the matador, a modern anti tank weapon which weighs 9.8kg
to GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun), which weighs 11.4 kg
to "84" (one WWII era anti tank weapon) which weighs 16kg!
wat's next?
carry the whole tank to battlefield?

now tt tk's private now...
and tk's super blur in military life...
he needs to be saved...

anyway...
juts came back from Tekong from navigation exercise...
i will say tt this experience of holding a map, compass, and a protractor to find around the island for checkpoints is really fun...
apart from all the walking and eating field combat rations...
(yucks they taste like shit)
for the day navigation...
we got to the correct place, but just can't find the code word (required for evidence to show tt u actually went to the check point) as the instructions ( or rather the hint given) ARE WRONG!
becos...
hint is given tt the code word is 30 meters from the track at the LEFT side of the track...
but when we found the code word 30 mins after we reach the area which means we are late from reaching the end point by more than 30 mins...
we track through jungle terrains with bearings...
and pacing to determine how far we walk... (sounds cool huh)
night navigation was more...
romantic... (due to the full moon on top of our heads, which sort of lighted up the whole forest)
but the problem at tt time was...
we are all guys... (and we are not gays!)
which is the big problem...
we met a Tekong native along our way to end point at night...

we saw a rather big fat black shadow taking its own f**king sweet time to cross the road...
we were about to draw arms to fire blanks when one of us decides to just let it through...
(we were gien 2 smoke grenades, 2 thunder flashes- tube tt cause a huge explosion sound, and 18 rounds of blanks...)
after tt...
while we were resting (in the middle of the road) we lift up our head...
and saw the moon...
with the stars (which increases as u look)
and lots of air planes flying across the sky to disrupt the scene...
well...
going to tekong for training while 80% of my cohort are still having their vacation is sickening...
imagining everyone is enjoying while u're suffering...
doesn't feels good at all :S
anyway just got to noe their posted unit...
for tze kiat (welfare soldier becos PM Lee's son [opps... did i jus said tt?] is in the same company as him) got to go to SISPEC (sch of infantry specialist) much to his disappointment as first as he aimed to go OCS so tt he can knock me down lol)
for TX, (who used to think tt he'll sure to be an officer cadet [as wat his msn nick used to put, "recruit -> private -> officer cadet -> officer -> ORD") gotten into SISPEC as well...
hmmmz...
maybe tt will teach him not to count all the chickens before they hatch...
for jun long (who gotten into the legendary Ninja company in BMTC) gotten into armour unit as a tank crew... hope tt he can slack as much as he wants when he's there (becos i heard tt armour tank personals are big time slackers)
for leong (a soldier made of paper) gotten into auto technicians (who repair and maintains military vehicles)
as for me...
its the same old shit again...
the beginning of weapon course next week...
if i DUN excel in weapon course (the bottom 30 of the 50 )...
i'll get to go ROC WITH LEADERS!!! (republic of china, Taiwan)
if i excel in weapon course (the top 20 of the 50 ppl in the course)
i'll go for snipers' course :) (something which i wanted )
who will be deployed in NDP to hide somewhere to lookout for other assassins waiting to harm our president (or any other VIPs), as wat i've heard around for others...
as i embarking on my next training phrase...
its more physical and mental demanding...

though happy tt i'm no longer a cao recruit...
i'm sad about the platoon pple...
if there's one or 2 fuckers in the platoon who's capable of pissing u off day by day...
its normal becos thye said in the army...
there are lots of different pple...
however...
when there are dozens of mother fuckers who can really boils ur blood in the platoon...
then something is wrong with u (as in myself), not them...
though i try hard to be "normal"
but how can i be normal when i'm already normal?
so now u all may have see tt this BMT life of mine is pathetically miserable...

took me time to reformat the com and...

I PASSED MY IPPT AND SOC!!!
from pull up 0 to a 8 :)
from can't climb low rope to dunno how to climb up one lol...
pple in my platoon kinda look down on me becos i look weird...
weak in physical fitness...
and very blur...
(dunno how sotongfic i can get in camp)
well...
may retribution hit it hard on them...

with regards to the ongoing fugitive Mas Selamat...
my BMT's instructors are being put on stand by to find tt bastard...
he better be caught fast...
if not the remaining instructors in SOTC will be out of steam soon...
and now for the bad news...
i failed my A levels :(
not going to disgrace myself here by revealing my results here...
only those who are damn bloody fucking close to me gets to know of course...
(for those who know all my A level results... well... u are bloody fucking close to me)
Airborne selection course is next Monday...
better pass this selection or else i kiss commando (NS) career goodbye
(i have an 84% of staying in 1st Commando Battalion and a mere 20% in getting into the leaders course)
