Thursday, December 30, 2010its 30th December 2010..2nd last day of 2010... so here i am, jus like everyone else, commenting on my "achievements", looking back on my resolutions set in the beginning of the year, and making new ones for 2011 :) so here are some of the things tt i looked forward to at the beginning of 2010: 1.) World Cup 2010 my dearest England Team clashed out of Grp 16 stage :( how pathetic~ Rooney left his scoring boots in Manchester before he left for South Africa. but we also see the emergence of another "Soccer Superpower", SPAIN... After winning the Euro 2008, Team Spain went on to be champions of the world in 2010 i'm kinda like looking forward to Euro 2012, World Cup 2014, where all the Soccer Superpowers battle each other (AGAIN) for the most prestigious award of the world's most popular sport :) 2.) Youth Olympics 2010 i'm SOOOOO proud to be part of this! :) i didn't joined in the performance part... i joined as an assistant. by doing tt, i managed to speak to lots of ppl from all over the world... Russians, Argentinians, Americans, Irish, People from Cuba, Africa, PRChinese, Brazilians, Italians, Frenchmen, Germans, Canadians, and quite a few more countries i think ;) it is all these chit chats i had with all these foreigners tt made it so wonderful, so memorable, and not the committee, nor the event itself. 3.) Soka Youth Musical (SYM) 2010's supposedly the year for youth cultural festival, but HQ decides to make it into a musical. something which i have no regrets of joining :) i can still remember the days when i decides to join in, by praying to the Gohonzon that i jus want to be a part of the Musical. although my role given was minimal, jus saying a few lines... but i've achieved the effect i hoped to impact the scene i was in... that is to bring in the " inhumane and cruel " "aura" into a heart-warming scene. i can recalled tt i've actually heard hisses and moans from the audience when i entered the scene. its also the first of the many few scenes that the audience requires tissue paper :D SYM has allowed me to make new comrades, deepen my understanding for Mentor & Disciple spirit, and Toda Sensei's intention to rebuild The Soka Gakkai. if given another chance, i will surely be more than gladly to do so :) apart from these "major happenings" , here are my resolutions in 2010, and whether i've accomplished them or not :) 1.) take flight from ASD and advance! - i think i manage to do tt, but not enough! i'm still defeated by my own fundamental darkness at times. although it can be considered as a norm, becos we are all humans, where our life condition fluctuates in the 10 worlds, it cannot be an excuse for not winning everything... i must expand my life and win over more challenges in 2011! 2.) Be more serious - a resolution which i think i FAIL instead of becoming more serious, i think i've gone from bad to worse... i didn't have the wisdom to know when to joke around, when to be serious. when its time to joke around, i think i go overboard... this cannot happen again in 2011! 3.) Get a Class 3 - fail oso went for TP twice, fail each time... i need to work harder on tt... i'll be The Driver for kosenrufu comrades! :) 4.) blog less , fb less - achieved blog less, FAIL in fb less judging from the amount of entries in 2010, i think i've achieved the blog less part... as for fb less part... seems impossible at this moment becos ITS TOO ADDICTIVE!!! but of course i'll work harder on tt... face to face encounter is always nicer and closer to heart compared to "talk" behind the computer. 5.) find a GF - :( :( :( :( :( i think i need to socialise more :s 6.) Find a job and earn more $$$. its something which i need to work harder on... i need a permanent part time job to pay my fees. $$$ issues have always been present in my family... i need to overcome it. my other resolutions for 2010 includes, i) getting a course of my choice in SIM it failed at first, becos i'm unable to obtain a bank loan for the study fees, although this problem still persist now, i need to score victory in this challenge! ii) victories in my district, victories in my life HQ's plan is to achieve a 50% increase in Zadankai attendance in 2010. before tt, my district's attendance hovers around 20+ , with the highest in feb, 25... hence, we planned achieve something more, we mark up our target up to 100% increase, which targeted at 50. (to have a 50% increase will mean the attendance will be at 38, if 25 is being used as the original 100%) after much struggles with ownself and 4 Division, we managed to achieved 53 attendance at November's Zadankai, something tt we leaders doubt whether we can even achieve in the 1st place... as long as the 4 division leaders achieve unity, nothing is impossible! :) for victories in own life, it will be the exam at the end of my semester... although did not get the results i wanted, i've scored distinctions in 3 of my 4 modules!!! something which i have NEVER achieve since i was a kid... was fighting alongside with leaders n members in the district during exam period, and the feeling is jus so shiok no words can express my joy. :) more victories will come along, rest assured i will find victories :) ok enought of the PAST... let me talk about my 2011 plans... 1.) to be a better district leader... Someone who can not only contribute towards Zadankai, but oso foster youths and get them ready for 2030, someone who can also spearhead movements within the district. Sensei's vision for world wide Kosenrufu MUST NOT FAIL. i oso need to be more alert, to be in "HLC" most of the time (if not all the time) so tt i can jus help anyone, anytime, anywhere :) i must also have lots of victory reports so tt i can share with my successors n juniors in years to come... 2.) need to be more serious in life... i need to be more serious in my life, need to cut down on lots of lame comments. funny i should remain, jus need to ... ... ... be more mature bah (tts the only word i can think of) i oso need to listen with my heart, not my ears... oso need to speak from the heart n brain, not from my A**. 3.) score distinctions again in my studies... the feeling of scoring 'A' s jus feels so shiok :) oso need to fulfill the saying of a youth must win in "all aspects of life" Gambatte!!! 4.) find a GF (as in soulmate) made quite a few new friends in 2010... need to enlarge my social circle as well in 2011... erm... aiming towards 1000 friends on fb? lol 5.) $$$ as usual... its my family karma for not earning enough to spend for necessities (education, utilities, food, transport) ... i need to overcome this karma, which is so deep tt it haunts almost every generation of my family clan. i oso need to win over sch fees issue, which is the case i'm still challenging now... i shall advance! pls wait for my victory report :) hwaiting!!!
