been busying with Soka activities this whole weekend...
(although had some time to slack, like now)
but what i didn't do is...
homevisiting...
whether its 4D side or the SD side

i've been a CIC since...
June?
but i've done not a single call up, nor a single homevisit...

i've been a district leader for...
one year?
but i still cannot breakthrough the district's growth...

I must have been a very lousy disciple of Sensei...

Yesterday's discussion meeting was fun...
we made adult division leaders join in our skit in encouraging members to bring new friends to chapter friendship gathering this september...
and i must say...
they co-operate with the youth and did a pretty good job :)
its one of the fewer times i see members did enjoy the whole meeting,
(although i can see it in their eyes tt they are rushing for time to proceed their next activities)

well...
Wat's Soka up to next?
NDP (a norm every year)
heard tt the flag bearers (this year's item) did a pretty good job last week...
so good tt the NDP chairman gave them a weekend off from the rehearsal (lol)

the whole organisation will be with u guys...

up next will be Chapter Friendship Gathering (CFG)
its a platform for all friends to be introduced to SSA, on what we are doing, our aims, purpose, our beliefs, etc... not just aim to participate in NDP and Chingay every year...

one good benefit for me is tt, i'll be able to take part in my chapter's meeting on the 7th of september, (becos i'll be off to Brunei on the 8th, and won't be back till the 28th)

being a frontline leader for one year...
realise tt the whole organisation really needs the constant in flow of youth to the frontline districts...
lots of things need the youth to accomplish, not tt the adult division can't do it...
but it is the youth tt will contribute to a more successful one...
i'm really hoping tt comrades from SD will really arise n take up positions in the frontline districts...
not tt there are none right now...
but i hope MORE will do tt...

becos the battle to achieve absolute happiness is different from the battle experienced in the student division...

the problem of not being able to attend meetings due to NS is starting to bother me...

its starting to really bother me...

i missed out one very very important meeting last week...
that is ASD Connexion...
while i may have mentioned it in previous entries...
i've found out (from wee yong's blog) tt i really missed out alot...
games...
sharings...
and basically...
the pple :)
the sun...
the beach...
everything!

wee yong's blog oso mentioned about graduate's sharing, represented by shuli...
he says tt "she is damn zai"...
well...
he's right...
experienced before during the HR comics sharing back in... April?

well...

back to my regular whining session on my week of army life...
seriously...
i've never whine so much in my life...
until i enter army...

someone once asked...
why my unit does not experience "hell week" like wat the NDU does...
the answer given was...
becos in my unit...
every day is hell...
no need hell week...
(zZz...)

i hate out field...
becos of various reasons...

1.) cannot bathe
2.) need to put on make up ( camou paint) throughout the whole field camp
3.) combat rations (i dun understand why leong like it so much)
4.) every piece of vegetation is possible latrine for everyone, u'll never noe where n when u'll step on other ppl's poo/pee (or both) at the same time...

but i'm jus so sway tt i kana a unit which has one of the most no. of out field exercises than any other units...
i am just so sway...

going out field next week to Marsiling for 3D 2N out field training...
to prep us, trainees for September's Brunei...
(btw it starts from 08/09)
i'm NOT looking forward to it...

had live firing on friday...
it was boring (as we have to wait for our turn)
our resting area have durian trees...
and its durian season now...
eating durians kind of add some colours into the boredom in the day...
at night... (yes live firing got night shoot)
big boys like us did something which kids at 4 did at other countries...
we catch fireflies...

yes u didn't see it wrong...
its fireflies...
here...
in singapore...

they are like little flashlights sticking at their ass...
(yes they kinda got out of power after some time)

i dun believe this...
i'm supposed to do this kind of things 10 years ago...
only got a chance to do it now...
Singapore kids are really really misfortunate...

well...

this day was my sister's 23rd birthday...
got her a crab...
bought another one intended for me n my mom
(i was trying to learn how to eat crab)
but end up my mom eating almost everything (lol)
the 2 crabs cost $42...
now tts damn expensive...

i shall not whine much about army life here...
(no point doing tt anyway...)

but just to show u all the picture of airborne :)
i dunno how the picture was taken,
but the picture i'm going to show is the sight of wat i see the moment i open my eyes
(yes i didn't dare to open my eyes during the initial punch out of plane)

Damn it!

life in the Battalion is not good...
not good at all...
being treated worse than a recruit...
first week passed...
and its all stand by beds (bunk inspection),
Physical trainings,
and...

nothing else...
lots of "tekan" sessions...
so much tt i dun feel like going back at all...

just received my camp pass for my pass before i book out...
and the interesting date which i wish it will come right tml is...
my ORD (Operational Ready Date)...
its in the November 2009...
still got 492 days...
zZz...

just how much longer do they want to keep my pink IC?!?!?!?!
not tt i look very handsome in my pink IC (some says i look like a monkey)
not tt i like the colour pink (in fact, the army ic is green in colour, my favourite colour)
but i just want my pink IC back...
i promise i will hug it to sleep every night.................. (provided u return it to me now)
in short...
i dun like army life...
i'm just here to repay my debts of gratitude to the country, for allowing me to 吃到那么大...
not to go play with life and death can!

to sidetrack (of my whining session of army life)...
ASD ConneXion is next week...
but i dun think i can attend the session, if its hold on the saturday...
becos of late book outs
(see how army life have affected my life?)
hope tml's recce team is a great success :)

when there's nothing to do in camp, which are those minutes before lights out...
i tend to have think of alot of things...
a thought came to my mind...
i miss drinking...
to tell u the truth, i'm not a drinker...
the tummy tt hangs onto my stomach is not beer belly... (though it looks like the case)
but somehow or rather, i miss drinking...
miss those clubbing atmosphere... (although i dun really like them)
ironic huh...
maybe grab tze kiat and leong to go for drinking session soon?
lol...
is this the result of mental stress?
well...
who knows... (even i myself dunno)
maybe yes, maybe no...

back to army life...
out field (something i hate the most in army life) starts at end of july...
followed by 3 weeks Brunei training in the September...
zZz...

oh well...
