Friday, June 8, 2007today is MIAKE's AGM, cum farewell party for yr 3s...well... wat can i say, its nicely planned n well coordinated... (though leong me n kiat are creating a scene there haha) the sad thing is, not everyone can join in the AGM. Shirley go Macau, the rest have accounts lessons, or their own commitments at the point of time... but pple like Yi hong, who's supposed to be in malaysia when AGM is on, postponed her trip to tml. n pple like simin skip the lesson just to attend the AGM. well lets just say that the final gathering for us is very very very important to us... Yi hong was showing me the quartermasters card passed down from xX n liangkai a year ago... (remember tt this 2 kinda pissed me off real badly last year when they "demand" for their farewell) some parts of the msg reads... "pls help us take care of tuankiak...." well... xie xie ni men hor... finally u all think about my "loneliness" there le hor... (hey... does tt make it sound like i'm one of AKE's instruments?) well anyway... we proceed to the Harmonis at 3pm... saw the familiar face... AKE's conductor auntie wee, with a bigger stomach this time... (duh, cos Melodi Tan, her daughter is maturing inside) (its a girl, so we, or rather i named it melodi tan, before they (the parents la) can name her... haha) we had lots of fun... when it comes to the ceremony. they give out nice certificates, plus a collar badge as a the gift. Sherlynn read out Shirley's speech... a very long n lor sor one... (she have to squeeze everything to font size 10 so tt everything can fit a page of paper) when its my turn... as usual la... being rated as the "long service awardee" but this time its auntie wee who give out the gift... hahaha... i think only the long service awardees, like me deserved to receive from her... after tt... i had my speech, yet again... as unprepared as before... but this time, i shared wat i wanted to share with the yr 1s (how they should treat every practice as a form of learning experience) my speech took 5 minutes n 42 seconds (everyone is entitled 30 secs, shirley's speech's suppose to last as long as mine, just tt the timer refuse to time, becos she's put off by the length n the size of the speech) (not fair :s) hahaha... the year 1s are very pro-active, from my point view la... (are they being forced to do it?) some of them even made cookies for us... plus the whole yr 1 n 2s sing us the song "If we hold on together" with pple playing beside them... (this is supposed to be at the first part of the whole programme) the singing..... well....... there's a reason why they join AKE n not choir u noe... (they said this themselves, i didn't say this) the highlight comes in the picture show of all our pictures... well... lots of memories arises from these pictures (my pic happened to be the classic one lor... hao xuan3 bu xuan3, xuan3 na ger pic... -.-" after every thing's over, i sent an SMS over to Ili (vice chairman) on the part which i forgot to tell the new EXCOs earlier on... well the msg is not exactly SMS but LMS (Long Message Service) becos the msg is 8 msg long! can't really remember what i told them, but its saved in my phone... refer later on... well... now i understand the feeling of leadership changeover... i'm kinda reluntant to do so... but hey... “长江后浪推前浪，前浪死在沙滩上” i'm sure they will do a good job in bringing the ensemble to a new dimension :) today i anticipated a major flood... but sadly... the major dam, "dam jasmine" did not release water... n the other dam, "dam shirley" is in Macau... -.-" (i brought my "life jacket" lor...) only a few smaller capacity (in terms of water containment) dam gave way... i heard tt only Nani n Grace cried... today's dry season turn out to be a big disappointment hahahaha! anyway... will like to thank the YEAR 2s... FOR MAKING THIS FAREWELL A MEMORABLE ONE!!! THANK U VERI MUCH!!!
