Thursday, December 27, 2007Something "interesting" happened today...so "interesting" tt i can't help but share with u pple... as u all may have already know... my grandparents lived just beside my apartment... so whatever commotion tts happen over at my place or their place will be known... today's (26/12) afternoon... around 1345 hr... my grandma received a call from "my brother"... this "brother" of mine was crying over the phone... claiming tt he's been beaten and locked up... (this "brother" of mine addressed my grandma as "ah ma", just like how we addressed her) my grandma sounded panicked, and was screaming on the receiver (sounded so panicked tt i can clearly hear it over at my side) as u all noe... i'm the nosy type... 什么事情都要加一脚下去 (chap ji ka lor ke) so i went over to my grandparents place... by now... my grandpa had already taken over the receiver... and began asking questions... but this "brother" of mine is having amnesia... tt he've forgotten the name of mine grandpa, father and uncles... so it turn out tt "my brother" is actually a scam... a scam to cheat old pple of their CPF etc and other forms of savings... of course nothing is wrong with my brother... in fact... he's happily working in TM (Tampines Mall) BEWARE OF SUCH SYNDICATES TT NOT ONLY SCARES THE HELL OUT OF U BUT CHEATS ALL THE $$$ FROM U!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have personally encountered such occasion not once, but twice... its some women with a China accent, who repeated trying to convince tt i have won myself a prize based on a lucky draw by buying electronic products... the women was apparently reading scripts, telling me to collect prize from Hong kong, sometimes Malacca, sometimes Genting... May these syndicates be crack down once and for all... till then... tk's quote of the day : “我的爱只能够 让你一个人独自拥有”
