Thursday, April 16, 2009well...after coming back from taiwan, where i spent one month over there, enjoying the cool spring, i jus can't seem to adapt well back to singapore weather... u see, the warmest temperature over at taiwan was around 21 degrees celcius. it is not even near to singapore's coolest temperature... tt means i had a hard time when i came back... many of my army buddies felt the same way as me... feeling as sticky as glue all day long, due to our perspiring... haha... guess we need to shower more than usual, until we dun sweat so much... during this gracious 7 days off awarded by my CO for our "outstanding" performance for ATEC i attended quite a few of soka activities (including those which requires my presence) and i have to say... 2010 is jus around the corner, and lots of things still needs to be done... YCF (Youth Culture Festival), an event tt Soka Gakkai holds every 5 years is coming next year... which means the preparations are already starting... i was hoping i can play a major role for this upcoming big event... but i know better than anyone else... 我不是单挑大梁的料... 成事不足，败事有馀 will be quite appropriate to describe me... tt is why i'm not officers' material during NS :D speaking of ATEC... dunno whether have i mentioned here before... but i personally think tt ATEC is a hell lot of bullshit... though the system is so realistic, from the simluation of artillery shellings, firepower of anti tank bombs, casualties and dead men... the way of which how the rules were set, the proficiencies of the umpires etc... to tell u guys the truth, i seriously doubt the credibility of the umpires deciding us... who are they to tell us wat is right and wat is wrong? how they noe watever they do is correct? one of the occassions (this incident did not happen back in ROC, but in SG), whereby my CO deployed his forces at breach in point "A", to destroy this particular objective with some buildings and a watch tower, is being critisized by the umpires during the debrief session... he claimed tt the breach in point "A" is too open and it can be clearly seen by the watchers on the watch tower. he confidently challenged my CO tt his suggestion of placing the breach in point "B" at another location, which he claimed,will not compromise the men's position... however, if the watch tower is meant to watch over the objective, it means tt the whole area around the ojective can be seen clearly from the top, any breach in point, regardless of position "A" or "B"will be clearly seen by the watchers, hence compromising all the men... so why is he suggesting tt? which is why alot of us are concluding tt they are STUPID, USELESS, AND WE DOUBT THEIR CREDITBILITY! the way they fight in taiwan kinda piss all of us off... we were wondering why we need to be evaluated by these bunch of idiots, where we can be evaluated by someone who are more combat experienced? haiz... thinking of all these piss me off so lets not talk about it :D time really flies... in 7 months time... i'll ORD :D while... my brother will be enlisting... hahaha good luck to him... but he's somewhat luckier (not to mention smarter) than me as he dun wait for MINDEF to post him to which NS he need to serve... he go look for the NS he wants to serve, which is SPF lol... while me? go for the stupid vocational assessment and got myself into lots of sufferings (lol) 在里头吃的苦，谁能了？ i was talking to the ladies during the SD kenshu dialogue session and was telling them about the "brutalities" and all the unreasonable things of which the commanders wanna tekan us, also tell them to watch out for their sons in future becos of all those "funny funny" rules and regulations etc etc... they dun seem to get it... they said tt NS forge a better charactor of guys, they matures,become more responsible, more disciplined etc etc... well... not sure about the mature part... but i'm responsible (i think)... even before NS... as for discipline... well... i'm still tt mother fucker before NS :D moulds a better person during NS? i dun think so... there are ppl inside my bunk who whines day in day out... he whines about doing nothing in camp, but cannot book out... he whines about staying at home too sian, got nothing to do but nobody to go out with, he whines about partying too much, need to cut down on all these... practically he whines about everything... and i have to hear this everyday... now this is irritating... i will suggest those ladies who think NS can mould a better character out of guys who enters to go n try out themselves... may NS mould the best characters out of them... ha! well... bitch n moan again next time... may u guys stay alive to see me tell tales again... hahaha
