Sunday, May 10, 2009the feeling to be able to book out of camp to enjoy the freedom sure is happy for me...becos it really sucks to stay in camp over the public holiday, and weekends... while i was staying in camp last week... many things happened at the outside world... the escalation of the swine flu outbreak, the rise of the alert level to orange, the cancellation of all SSA activities becos of the pandemic alert, the AWARE saga at Expo which i think is a joke, the recapture of MSK :) and some other minor minor incidents really wanted to get out of camp to check it out... its not tt the camp is totally bored to the core... it has swimming pool, which can swim anytime without paying a single cent like other public pools, the officers' mess which open specially for those stay in camp ppl over the weekend, playing of "wii" watching movies (for free) etc etc... it is the freedom that is lacking inside the camp, and the discipline that have to be observed in the camp... thinking about tt jus totally turns me off. (and i still have to book in tonight :( ) one thing i'm happy about is the recapture of MSK tt's being announced a few days ago... while i wasn't involve in the greatest manhunt in Singapore's history, i'm happy tt this bugger has been caught, simply becos... imagine this bugger continues to stay outside bars, and getting back to indonesia, homeground of JI cells... he will return to Singapore one day... with bombs, (something tt we cannot deny he won't do such a thing) and the last thing i want to know is to let the whole island's lifestyle to change completely becos of him... i'm ready to die for the country (ok... its somewhat ready huh) but i will not allow myself to die in the hands of terrorist activities (die for nothing la) it will be glad if MSK tt bugger is locked up overseas and not come back toSingapore forever... or jus make up an accident and get rid of him... why should we show him humanity when he wanted to take it away from us? i doubt the detention will be of any usage anymore... he has evaded capture before (3 times somemore), he definitely can do it again... he can go to Guantanamo Bay and stay with his brothers if he wants, but not stay in SG's soil (then again, i'm not sure if the closure of Guantanamo Bay prison by President Obama is a wise choice.) well... anyway... its hard to find jobs these days... so wat am i gonna do after i ORD (in 180+ more days) i mean... once i ORD, i got all the time in the world, i've got no income, ($700 bucks per month during NS is good money for poor spenders like me) i'm not so sure wat course i want to apply for further studies... lots of uncertainties... tsk tsk tsk... Speaking of NS... heard rumours tt Syarif, tt freako shit from 05S2 has gotten into SISPEC (School of Infantry Specialists) for army... how can pple like him get into Sergeant Course? how can hypocrites like him become a specialist? he wayang his way during his BMT? i can't believe this, he'll rank higher than me when he graduated from the School (even though i noe i'm better than him)... 天啊！ 你是在玩我吗？ May is the month where many uni friends are having exams, or have jus finish their exams and enjoying their long holidays... to those who have yet to finish the papers, " Gambatte! " to those who are enjoying their holidays, " enjoy!"
