HAPPY 2010!!!!!

Wat a way to start the year with :)
2009 was... ... ... ... both good and bad i guess
2009 was the year all my Dragon friends' important year.
becos they turned 21.
i didn't managed to attend alot of their birthday parties as... i'm busy with NS.
2009 was the year with lots of sadness and happiness... ... ...
not too long ago during christmas...
i had a mini gathering with my secondary sch friends whom i have not seen for 2 years (at least) meeting them made my christmas night so wonderful i think i can still smile in my sleep now haha

however tt day, when logged onto Fb, i saw something on it which end my christmas early...
the very next moment, i thought i heard glass shattered...

我的玻璃心碎了！
one of my eye candy changed status already...
not tt i have a crush on my eye candy (we're jus normal friend)
her change in status makes me wonder, yes wonder only...
why the person she like is not me, why we cannot be better friends than we currently are?
(yes its abit sad, this is how the broken heart on my MSN messenger came about)
but now it doesn't hurt anymore, i congratulate the couple :)
she'll still be my eye candy :D

as for the happy part, well, guess its the 10th on every month, where i collect my NS pay :D
its money money money...

enough of 2009, lets talk about 2010...

something to look forward to in 2010...
firstly as a soccer fan...

WORLD CUP YEAR!!!!!!!!
glad tt Team England made it for the challenge, i was VERY disappointed when they failed to qualified for Euro 2008.
but now they made it to the top 32 qualifying stage, all the best Team England,u all better make it to AT LEAST a Top 4...

up next is our very own... .... ...


YOG 2010!!!!!!
i've signed up as a volunteer for this event...
lots of preparation is going on behind our back...
i hope i can meet youths from all over the world and make lots of friends :D

another meaningful event which i've been looking forward to since 2005, tt is...

yes... its Soka Youth Musical 2010...
its a 5 years once cultural event organised and hosted by Soka to tell the whole world what is Soka...
it started 10 years ago in singapore in 2000, although other countries started much earlier.
this year will be my 3rd time participating in this event.
in this musical, i played a Japanese Government Official, no singing required for me though, so dun be afraid ur ear drum will break when u go watch the show :D
in 2005 was a cultural item, Bollywood style :D

ok now lets talk about my resolutions for 2010...

1.) 2010 is the year i will graduate from ASD, the student division body i'm in the moment i decided to stick with Millennia Institute. 2010 is the year i take off and fly to face all adversaries. all the training i received throughout my stay will determine whether i make or break. 2010 is going to be tough, but there's a saying "when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!" no doubt i will face alot of challenges, but rest assured, i will win everyone of the problems head on.

2.) 2010 is the year i wanted to make a change. after the christmas glass shattering experience, i've decided... No more "Mr lame Shit", its time for me to grow up! time for me to say logical things and stop talking nonsense. BE SERIOUS TK!

3.)2010 is the year i MUST obtain a Class 3, something which i failed to do so in 2009. as 2010 is my take off year, all my soka activities will be all over the island, some even going to happen at different places at the same time. hence there's a need for me to drive. i'm oso sick of the public transport, bus arriving at wrong timing, MRTs are always sardine packed, taxis forever are no where to be seen when u need them most, whenever teh meter jumped, my wallet hurts etc...

4.) 2010 is the year i continue to blog less, and challenge myself to fb less too. yes, some of u may noe tt i seem to be on fb every moment, in 2010 this will change (i hope).
no doubt these technological advancements in media has made the world smaller, it has increased the distance between mankind without us knowing it. we could be seeing each other every day, but we won't be talking, but smsing, go online to msn n chat, fbing etc...
have we forgotten about our gift as human beings?
the gift of human interaction?
the power & beauty of language?
a face to face, heart to heart dialogue with ur friends can NEVER be replaced by smses like
"lol"
"haha"
"k"

":("
becos all these symbols are unable to transmit the warmth, sincerity, care and love as it can only be felt by our heart and consciousness.
a simple ":)" can have many other meanings other than smile. he/she can be troubled but doesn't wanna let u noe, u won't noe it on the other side of the computer.
BUT when u have a face to face, heart to heart dialogue with ur friend, all the "i'm troubled", "i'm not happy" symtoms are written all over the face, and body language, and some so "visible" only ur heart noes...
with all these, i decided to tone down on these technological mediums that is creating a barrier between my friends and me :)

5.) 2010 is the year i'll continue to find a gf haha...
this will go on until i'm convinced tt i need a foreign bride, which is by 2016.

6.) 2010 is the year i will need to work more for money. becos i've decided to finance my own studies. $$$ won't be dropping from the sky, so need to work already.

i'm determined to resolute these 6 goals in 2010!
